Free and reduced price meals for 2015-2016 school year

Shining Mountain Health and Wellness has started a breastfeeding initiative for Native Americans and Southern Ute Tribal Employees. Through this initiative they have started the first ever lactation room located in the Mouache Capote Building, basement level, RM 31.

National Prescription Take Back Day, Sept. 26, 2015

Gary Farmer and his band of ‘Troublemakers’ made a special in-studio appearance to the KSUT studios, Wednesday, Sept. 16. The intimate three-song sessions were aired simultaneously on KSUT’s Pubic and Tribal Radio signals. Farmer’s Troublemakers visit KSUT

Tribal elder Kenny Frost and Shiprock Chapter President Chili Yazzie offered blessings for the river, Saturday, Sept. 5 in Shiprock, NM. After the walk GeoSource provided a demonstration on how a Solar Panel System can filter polluted water.

10 years ago: During the 2005 Southern Ute Tribal Fair PowWow, the GoodTracks family sponsored a special Ute Womens’ Traditional Dance Contest in the memory of Shirley Goodtracks. Six places were awarded to the contest who had to be enrolled in any of the Southern Ute, Northern Ute and Ute Mountain Tribes.
