Shining Mountain Health and Wellness has started a breastfeeding initiative for Native Americans and Southern Ute Tribal Employees. Through this initiative they have started the first ever lactation room located in the Mouache Capote Building, basement level, RM 31.
Shining Mountain Health and Wellness also offers breastfeeding support to women who are currently breastfeeding or who are pregnant. If you would like to get more information contact their certified lactation counselors, Deanna Frost or Tristian Benally at 970-563-4741.
