The 4th annual Outrunnin’ Diabetes Fun Run and Walk, sponsored by the Albuquerque Area Dental Support Center and Shining Mountain Health &Wellness brought community members together for some physical activity on Thursday, Nov. 21. Participants make their way along the Bear Trail, kicking off the walk/run event on a warm autumn afternoon.

Junior Miss Southern Ute, Leandra Litz gave opening remarks and introductions in both her Ute and Diné languages in support of the Outrunnin’ Diabetes Fun Run and Walk, sponsored by the Albuquerque Area Dental Support Center and Shining Mountain Health &Wellness.
