The Southern Ute Heritage Performers and tribal royalty are raising money to travel to Russia this July in order to participate in the opening ceremonies of the 1994 Goodwill Games. Tyler Young practices CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) in Ms. Ann Peck’s Southern Ute Academy class on Wednesday, March 3. The fifth-year academy students learned how and when to perform CPR on adults and children. All the children were certified to perform First Aid. Although the students know how to perform CPR on adults and children, they weren't qualified to lift an adult. Maybe next year. Good job!
