Southern Ute Shining Mountain Health and Wellness in collaboration with Community Home Health Services program held a Heart Healthy Lunch and Learn in the Buckskin Charley room on Wednesday, Feb. 21 during American Heart Month. The luncheon focused on the importance of keeping your heart healthy, checking blood pressure, knowing where your levels should be if you're diabetic. Eliyah Lucero, fitness trainer with Sun Ute Community Center spoke on how exercising regularly can strengthen and keep your heart healthy.
