Environmental Leadership and Knowledge Seminar (E.L.K.S) brought summer participants to the banks of the Pine River to collect bugs and fish.
The crawfish named ‘Bob’ was one of the many aquatic species which the youth participants collected.
E.L.K.S participants where encouraged to touch, examine and measure the fish and other insects collected on their Pine River field trip.
SU Wildlife Technician, Jon Broholm, measures and catalogues each of the specimens before returning them to their natural habitat.
