Families of students who participated in this summer’s BGC club were welcomed to enjoy some barbecue and spend time with one another before school starts back up in the following weeks.

Miss Southern Ute, Maleina Carel welcomed everyone to the end of summer barbecue held by the Boys and Girls Club of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe on Friday, August 1 at SunUte Park in Ignacio.

The BGC staff gave flowers to Councilmember Marge Barry during the end of summer barbecue for her support for the club.
