The Southern Ute Indian Tribe, in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Health Care System set up in the Sky Ute Casino Resort parking lot for the Tribe’s second voluntary Drive-through Viral Testing Event on Wednesday, August 12, and continued the testing through Thursday, Aug. 13. The free COVID-19 testing was open to Southern Ute tribal elders, tribal members, tribal employees and the Ignacio community, all were encouraged to participate.
