A pot of red chili pods sat simmering on the stove before it went into the blender with some herbs and spices. The mixture was then added to the roasted pork during the tamale making process at the Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Facility, Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Participants of the tamale making class, working as a group, quickly made short work of the bowls of masa and red chili pork, turning them into delicacies of delight. It’s pretty safe to say the homemade tamales were a hit!
