The Department of Justice and Regulatory welcomes Daryl Noon as Chief of Police for the Southern Ute Police Department. Noon is a member of the Navajo Nation with over 30 years of law enforcement experience. Noon is welcomed by Tribal Attorney and Prosecutor, Felicia Charles, following his Oath of Office at the Casias Newton Justice Center, Monday, Nov. 24. As Chief of Police, Noon will oversee all operations of the Southern Ute Police Department, while enhancing public safety initiatives, and fostering trust between law enforcement and the community.
