The Division of Natural Resources chipped in to buy a Pendelton blanket and hosted a potluck lunch for Ed McCaw, Friday, May 16, recognizing his years of service to the Tribe. McCaw worked as a tribal liaison under USDA, partnering on agriculture and natural resource management projects with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe since 2010. Vice Chairman Marvin Pinnecoose shares a few of his fondest memories having worked with Ed McCaw over the years. McCaw retired from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) this spring, having worked hand in hand with the Southern Ute Indian Tribe for over a decade. Ed and his wife, Kelly, plan to spend more time working on their own farm here in La Plata County and enjoy retirement.
