Southern Ute Tribal Council member, Marge Barry gave a welcome prior to Southern Ute Royalty members – Little Miss Southern Ute Alternate, Olyvia Watts and Southern Ute Brave Theoden Greany each giving their respective welcomes. Greany also said a blessing prior to the arrival of the Easter Bunny.

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail …


The Ignacio Community Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, April 12, at SunUte Park. The Southern Ute Police Department and the Boys and Girls club of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe hosted the hunt for the community of Ignacio. KSUT Tribal Radio’s REZ-olution Radio DJ, Robert Ortiz, who played music and emceed while the different age groups were hunting eggs throughout the morning. Many vendors were also set up to sell food.
