The Money Talks financial workshop titled, “Used Car Buying, the Smart Way” was presented by Southern Ute Tribal Treasurer, Marvin Pinnecoose, Tuesday, Nov. 21, in the Buckskin Charley room. The hour-long workshop was open to tribal members and tribal employees and covered all the basic of assessing your car’s trade in value, current interests’ rates (APR) and the market value of the car you are looking to buy — emphasizing that knowledge is key in negotiating the purchase of any used vehicle.
