Former EXO, James “Mike” Olguin opens his gifts during his farewell party on Friday, Nov. 17. Employees throughout the organization gathered to give their well wishes to Olguin as his term ends. In a memo sent to the Tribe he said, “I will miss you all and especially those that I have built professional relationships with and even new friendships — thank you all and Happy Holidays.”
Former Executive Officer, James “Mike” Olguin greets employees during his farewell party held on Friday, Nov. 17 in the Hall of Warriors. During the event friends, family, and tribal employees gathered to celebrate Olguin’s term serving as the Executive Officer for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Attendees took time to share well wishes and present gifts to Olguin marking the end of his term.
Council members Marge Barry and Linda K. Baker presented a beaded medallion to James “Mike” Olguin as a gift for his service to the Southern Ute Indian Tribe on Friday, Nov. 17 during Olguin’s farewell party. They also took the time to say a few words, showing their appreciation to Olguin.
Chairman Melvin J. Baker stands before the attendees sharing his appreciation of Olguin and his dedication to the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Chairman also gave Olguin a Pendleton blanket as gift for his service.
