Southern Ute tribal member Shondeena Richards was sworn into a three-year term on the Southern Ute Election Board before Tribal Council, Tuesday, April 3. The Election Board is preparing for the upcoming special election to fill the vacant council seat previously held by Councilman Kevin Frost, who resigned at the end of 2017 to accept a position in Washington D.C.
