Welcome to the beautiful Southern Ute Reservation and to the 97th Annual Southern Ute Fair & Powwow! On behalf of the Southern Ute Indian Tribal Council and Tribal Membership, we hope you enjoy your time with us. There are many family friendly events taking place throughout the weekend. We encourage you to participate in the contests like the jalapeno eating contest to the grease pole climb. All contests and events can be found in the latter pages of this Premium Book (link below). Thank you to the Tribal Staff and volunteers for their dedication to ensure this weekend is a success. A big thank you to the Veterans and visiting Tribal leadership, Royalties, Singers, Dancers, and Spectators. For 97 years, our tribal members have enjoyed catching up with relatives and friends, we hope that you all spend this weekend telling stories, sharing laughs, and creating new friendships. We pray that the Creator watches over you on your journeys back home. See you next year!
