AAIHB members tour campus


Southern Ute was the host tribe for the October meeting of the AAIHB Executive Board, which toured the Southern Ute Health Center and the Museum, Friday, Oct. 8.

The Southern Ute Indian Tribe is a member of the six-tribe consortium of the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board (AAIHB). Tribal Council members Linda Baker and Marge Barry serve as the Southern Ute Tribal representatives on the Executive Board, which oversees the organization dedicated to promoting improved health services to the Native American populations of New Mexico and Southern Colorado. The AAIHB Executive Board consortium tribes are Ramah Band of Navajo, Tohajilee Band of Navajo, Mescalero Apache Tribe, Jicarilla Apache Nation, Ute Mountain Ute Tribe and the Southern Ute Tribe.
