The Tribe’s Social Services department held an open house on Thursday, May 25 at the Mouache-Capote building. It was open to everyone who wanted to come meet with social service employees and get to know what they do day to day. Marlene Sandoval who is a Social Service worker, talks with Louise Wilson and Bobbie Rosa who are both Vocational Rehabilitation counselors.
Foster Care Coordinator, Kellie Yazzie greets Shelly Riddle who works as DNR GIS manager for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Informational pamphlets were given out on what social services does for the tribal membership.
