Peaches are delicious, nutritious, and abundant! Enjoy fresh peaches in season and frozen during the cold months. They contain fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help fight disease, they are low in calories and make a great snack.

Another way to enjoy them is to grill them. This recipe also works for nectarines, apricots, and plums.  With a little bit of butter and brown sugar, they caramelize into a glaze of super deliciousness!

  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Vanilla Greek yogurt

*To pit a peach, run a knife along the outer flesh, turning around the pit as you cut.  Then twist apart and remove the pit.

*To use the oven, preheat to 350 and place the peaches on a rimmed baking sheet, cooking on each side for 5-7 minutes or until browned and tender.
