Families attend open house

Lawrence Santisteven and family attend the Southern Ute Indian Montessori Acadamy’s open house, Thursday, Aug. 25, held in the school playground area. Southern Ute tribal departments, including the Health Clinic had tents up to provide helpful information and goodies for families.
Parents met one-on-one to fill out paperwork and get information about their student's classes during the open house in the primary level classrooms.
Easton Velasquez, son of Rhiannon and Fidel Velasquez, enjoys some fresh fruit during the Academy’s open house to meet with teachers, staff, and classmates.
