Ending school year with a BASH!

Southern Ute tribal departments hosted the “End of School Year Bash” for all students, their families and friends, at the Piinu Nuuchi Skatepark, Saturday, May 21. SunUte Front Desk attendant Margaret Manzanares seems pleased with her cotton candy creation, while SunUte Recreation Coordinator, Bird Red and Southern Ute Museum Director, Susan Cimburek handle snowcone duties.

ATtendees were asked to tie a green ribbon to signify support for Mental Health Awareness month.

Raffles and prizes were awarded to attendees. Timothy Paiz and Alana Watts both walked away with prizes at the End of School Year Bash. he prizes were donated by various tribal departments.
