On Thursday, Jan 12. families gathered for a warm breakfast at the Southern Ute Head Start for the first family get-together of the new year. Family & Community Partnership Coordinator, Rebecca Barnes invited Christian Belman from San Juan Regional Medical Center to the stage where he spoke about accessing enrollment in a number of services provided by the medical center. He further expressed how San Juan Regional Medical Center is supportive in guiding families to a healthier lifestyle. During the breakfast, Melanie Lawrence provided an assortment of activities that encouraged the children to interact with physically.
