Southern Ute elder, Lynda D’Wolf continues teaching her Ute Language class in collaboration with the Southern Ute Education Department. Hour-long classes are held every Friday at the Leonard C. Burch Administrative building, Buckskin Charley room. Classes are free and open to tribal members and employees. Refreshments are also provided for participants.
Christine Hudgens, Chief Financial Officer for the Southern Ute Permanent Fund, practices her Ute vocabulary during Ute language class on Friday, April 19. Hudgens has been a student of the Ute language for several years, often attending the classes led by Southern Ute elder, Lynda D’Wolf.
