Culture Camp & Archeological Field School

Waterways provide important habitat for wildlife throughout the Southern Ute Reservation.

Spend a weekend with elders, Southern Ute Preservation team, and professional archeologists, learning traditional crafts (flint-knapping; bow-making; yucca twine, etc.), archeological survey and mapping, and methods of cultural heritage site preservation.
