Ute games teach survival skills

Participants learned how to make fire using traditional methods. Staff member, Tallas Cantsee helps his son try to make fire using a bow Tuesday, Aug. 5 at the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum.

For means of shelter, participants learned how to construct a Wikiup in record time.
Participants, Mahleywa Parish-Some and Keen Cantsee, stand proud next to their Wikiup they constructed Tuesday, Aug. 6 during the Ute Hunger Games.
