Cultural Preservation Director, Crystal Rizzo welcomes attendees during the museum tour and culture-based orientation for new employees on Wednesday, Jan. 8, inviting new hires to the upcoming Bear Dances and other cultural events.
Newly hired employees in multiple positions and departments/divisions gathered at the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum to meet with staff and tour the facility on Wednesday, Jan. 8 as part of the new employee orientation process. New hires received a presentation on the history of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe during their visit, the next program will take place on Wednesday, March 5 and is now part of the mandatory orientation for the Tribe.

SUCCM Education and Outreach Coordinator, Raelynn Frauenhoff shares the history of the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum with newly hired employees throughout the organization. Frauenhoff, along with Fabian Martinez and Crystal Rizzo, gave a cultural presentation specific to the Southern Utes to help newly hired employees gain more cultural awareness and to feel welcomed as they begin this chapter of their careers.
