The Southern Ute Veterans Association lowered the flags to half-mast in Southern Ute Veterans Memorial Park over the weekend, in recognition of President George H. W. Bush, who passed away on Friday, Nov. 30. Bush was the last living U.S. President with a military record of service, as a combat veteran, explained Southern Ute Veteran Rod Grove.
