Jonathan Dean Sells joined his Creator on August 6, 2015 in Ignacio, Colo.

Jonathan was born to Carol Baker and the late Vernon Sells on July 1, 1990. Most of Jonathan’s life was spent enjoying Bear Dance, snowboarding and all that Colorado has to offer.

Jonathan had a wonderful sense of humor and brought smiles to everyone he encountered. What set Jonathan apart was his willingness to see good in everyone as he was quick to forgive and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt. Jonathan had an infectious laugh, a giving heart, creativity and energy that touched everyone who surrounded him.

Jonathan is survived by his mother Carol Baker of Red Mesa; sisters: Rochá Rickel of Firestone, Colo, and Demi Sells of Durango, Colo, and the family and friends who have loved and supported him.

A celebration of life was held Mon., August 10, 2015 at The Cowboy Church, Durango, Colo.  A graveside service will be held on Sat., August 22, at the Ouray Cemetery in Ignacio.
