The Southern Ute Bear Dance – was held May 30 – June 1 in Ignacio. It was estimated that over 500 people attended the Bear Dance on Saturday and Sunday. This was the first time in a long time there was night bear dancing and dancing in the early afternoons on Saturday and Sunday.
