Christmas came early for Mr. Michael Cruz on his first ever elk harvest. Cruz participated in the Tribe’s first descendant cow elk hunt through the month of December. Harvested on Monday, Dec. 25, in Deep Canyon using a 300 Remington Ultra Mag. at 200 yards.
