A truck from the Sky Ute Redi-Mix pours another load of concrete that will help form sidewalks and curbs on the streets that surround Veterans Park. The construction has forced closure of portions of Ouray and Mouache Drives to the north and east of the Tribal Annex Building, but drivers can now use Weminuche Drive as it comes off Highway 172 and gain access to the Health Clinic and the Southern Ute Head Start Building. Yellow Jacket provided the drum beat for the Native American dancers in the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot in Ignacio on Sept. 1.
