10 years ago: A heartfelt handshake and mutual respect between Southern Ute tribal member Kenny Frost and Native American Consultant Dr. Nimia Ana Apaza, President of JuJuy College of Law in Argentina marked the sincere positive approach each delegate brought with them to the 11th Annual Gathering of Indigenous Peoples of Americas. 20 years ago: Carolers from the Southern Ute Head Start delivered some Christmas cheer to the Tribal Affairs building and sang some Christmas favorites.
