Obituary: Scott Taylor


TAYLOR – Scott Edwin Taylor, 46, of Ignacio, Colorado went to be with the Creator on August 31 in Littleton, Colorado. He enjoyed spending his time drawing, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

 

Scott was born on May 31, 1972 in Durango to Mary Inez Cloud and the late Jack Taylor. Scott attended school in Ignacio, Fountain Valley, California and Tuba City, Arizona. Scott worked for the Southern Ute Wood Yard and Red Bear Construction.

 

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Taylor, son Francis Taylor and grandparents Frank Taylor, Victoria Waratza, Ralph Cloud and Daisy Watts. He is survived by his son Alfred (Deneil) Taylor of Pocatello, Idaho, mother Mary Inez Cloud, siblings Steve Rivera and Stacey Oberly and many nieces and nephews of Ignacio.

 

The wake was Wednesday, September 12 at the Southern Ute Chapel. Funeral services were conducted by Eddie Box Jr. and Larry Tucker on Thursday September 13 at the Southern Ute Chapel.
