This September marks the 20th anniversary that the historic Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall āCā made a visit to the Southern Ute Veterans Park. It was created for the families and veterans who may not be able to travel to see the Memorial in Washington D.C. On Sept. 13, 1997, Veterans from the Southern Ute, Ute Mountain Ute and Northern Ute tribes gathered for the historical event. Alden Naranjo and Everett Burch performed a blessing of the wall and Southern Ute Chairman, Clement J. Frost gave the welcoming address and placed the wreath.
