10 Years Ago: On June 29, 2007 the Discovery Camp kids along with Discovery Camp Supervisor, Peter Dietrich, visited the Southern Ute Drum Offices. The visit included demonstrations on how the Drum is produced, from taking a photo on a digital camera to importing to iPhoto, networking, and photo manipulations. The tour also included seeing the many photos the Drum has archived, and staff answered questions. Pictured Front row L to R- Brandon Bigleggins, Antonio Torres, Joshua Jewett, Blaine Mickey, Eli Garcia. Back row L to R- Angela Herrera, Roshae Weaver (behind) and Adison Jones. 30 Years Ago: Ms. Shirley Goodtracks received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma in Tahlaquah, Oklahoma. On June 23, 1987, Ms. Goodtracks received a plaque of recognition from the Tribal Chairman and Tribal Council for her educational endeavor. L-R Chairman Chris Baker, Orion Box and Shirley Goodtracks.
