Classroom 6 singers belt out a song in honor of their graduation from the Head Start on May 12. The song was an original piece dedicating all their hard work. The week-long basketball camp at the Ignacio High school benefitted the youths in the surrounding area of Ignacio. The kids played for 20-minute durations in selected groups to work on team and shooting technique. The Kid’s coaches, headed by Louis Owens, are IHS basketball players and coaches who came to pass along their skills.
‘Run Against Drugs’ participants returned home Sunday, June 23 to a reception held in their honor.
