Southern Ute Chairman, Marvin Pinnecoose and Tribal Council had a productive afternoon meeting with Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser and Christian Champagne, Senior Counsel in the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. During the meeting, Tribal leadership discussed key priorities, ongoing initiatives, and opportunities for future collaboration to strengthen government-to-government relationships and advance shared goals.

Leadership thanked Attorney General Weiser as the first state leader to visit the Enterprise spill site, demonstrating a commitment to gaining a firsthand understanding of the impacts on the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and surrounding communities.
