Little Bobcat Cheerleaders take center stage as they perform the cheers they learned over the course of the week at cheer camp, put on by IHS Cheerleaders.
One of the highlights from the Ignacio Bobcats’ loss to Walsenburg John Mall on Friday, Oct. 2, was the halftime presentation upon IHS Field of the Homecoming Week 2015 Royalty – in particular, the announcement of King (senior Austin McCaw, 85; parents are Ed and Kelly McCaw) and Queen (senior Cortney Wilson-Baker, flanked at left by father Jacob Baker; her mother is Delilah Wilson).
Part of Ignacio High’s Homecoming Week 2015 Senior Class Royalty presented at halftime to fans filling IHS Field’s bleachers for the Oct. 2 football game versus Walsenburg John Mall, senior Miel Diaz (center) savors the moment with fellow royal Matthew Powell (right) and escort Kruz Pardo (left). Diaz is the daughter of Danielle Burns and Carlos Diaz, Powell the son of Frank and Lilly Powell.
Class of 2017 duked it out in the ring as their float was filled with the junior class ready to pounce on the Panthers.
High School students enjoy the homecoming activities outside, while beaming with Bobcat Pride!
