Ignacio Middle School has a big turnout for the 2026 fall volleyball season with a total of 47 girls playing. After skill evaluations completed at the beginning of school, the girls have been divided into four teams. A Team coached by Stephanie GoodTracks, B Team coached by Rose Vigil, C1 Team coached by Bree Rodrick, and C2 Team coached by Gabriela Garcia. They kicked off their season hosted in Cortez at Cortez Motezuma Middle School on Thursday Aug. 27. On Thursday evening, Ignacio Bobcats Sophia Romaro (11) sends a strong serve straight over the net to during B Teams game where Ignacio won both sets against home team Cortez.
