Zayla Herrera and Sapphire Herrera, both Southern Ute tribal member descendants, had the opportunity to attend the Oquirrh Mountain Girls Fast Pitch Invitational held in Salt Lake City, Utah with the Durango Danger girl’s softball traveling team. The team battled for three days in 97-degree weather and placed 3rd out of twelve teams.
Sapphire Herrera is 8 years old and the daughter of Lori and Eliseo Herrera. She earned her first ring. Congratulations to the Durango Danger Team!
