Elks National Hoop Shoot Out Free Throw Contest participants (l-r), Christian Cosio, Tommy Seibel, Kai Seibel, Sakarii GoodTracks and Charles Alston were honored for competing in the annual contest during the Ignacio High School boys' varsity basketball game on Thursday, Jan. 22 in the Ignacio High School Gymnasium. The annual free throw contest was held in Durango, Sunday, Jan. 18 at Fort Lewis College.

Both Christian Cosio (left) and Sakarii GoodTracks placed first in their divisions respectively, which advance them to Districts. Cosio won in the 12-13 boys’ category, and GoodTracks won in the 10-11 girls’ category.
