The 2025 Shooting Stars Basketball Easter Shootout was held in three gyms in Ignacio, SunUte, Ignacio High and Middle Schools, Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19. There were over 45 teams competing in 10U Coed, 12U, 14U, 16U boys’ and girls’ teams from Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. Regular pool games were played in the three gyms with the tourney finals being played in the Ignacio High School gymnasium. See final results on the tourney’s Instagram feed at ShootingStars505.

Ignacio, soon-to-be middle schooler, 11-year-old Warren Whyte, drives for a layup in 12U boys basketball action. Coached by Trae Seibel, the Ignacio Bobcats went 2-2.
