Bayfield Flyers, a 19-girl cheer squad out of Bayfield, Colo., attended the U.S Finals Cheer and Dance in Las Vegas, Nev., Saturday, May 11. The U.S Finals are invitational only, the best of teams across the world including teams from Sweden and Mexico attended. Bayfield Flyers placed 14th out of 15th place in their division.

Southern Ute tribal member Lillian Valdez, daughter of Claire Valdez is a part of the Bayfield Flyers team. Coaches are Annette French and Bryce Vaughn.
