Celebrating 69 years of rodeo, this years Red Ryder Roundup was held in Pagosa Springs, Colo. on Wednesday, July 4 at the Western Heritage Event Center Rodeo Grounds. The rodeo brought contestants, spectators and livestock from far and wide to what is dubbed the “Biggest and the best rodeo in the Southwest.” This rodeo dates back to the middle of the century and was first organized by a group of ranchers in 1949 and has continued to be a community run event.
