Team Southern Ute cross-country runners seem no worse for wear after their run.

The Tri-Ute Cross Country event had youth and a few adults competing to finish the course, each running individually but finishing as a team.

As the sun broke the horizon on Tuesday, June 16. The Tri-Ute cross country runners laced up their shoes and began to run the course which made it’s way along the mesa above Fort Duchesne, Utah, beginning at the Veterans Memorial Center (the east entrance to Bottle Hollow Reservoir) and ended at the Northern Ute police station. Team Southern ute had seven runners, along with cross-country coach, Kevin Winkler running with the team for encouragement and moral support.
