Pre-game warm-up entails catching and throwing, and of course plenty of instruction on proper T-ball techniques, including swinging the bat and running the bases.
The Ignacio Mavericks, of the Ignacio Youth Baseball League played their season-opener T-ball game against the Durango Rockhounds Saturday, May 30 at the Animas Park Youth baseball fields in Durango. Good sportsmanship is always part of the game as teams congratulate one another after the game.
