Finishing a 4-0 tourney run, Stealth defeated Four Corners-region collective Tribal Affairs 19-16 in the seven-inning finale, but had to recover from losing an early 8-0 lead, keyed by an inside-the-park grand slam by second baseman April Sanchez (front row, second from left).

UNC fell in the contest, 15-14, but since it was the locals' first loss, the dreaded "If" game was played — and won 19-17 by UNC, making them the victors (with a 4-1 event record).
Lady Stealth leadoff hitter/leftfielder Melorie Tsosie (yellow shirt) of Farmington, N.M., narrowly makes it back to the bag, beating the tag of Tribal Affairs first baseman Phileesha Brown during the women's bracket championship of the 2013 Los Pinos Open Softball Tournament on Sunday, May 26 at Silva Memorial Field. Every baserunner possible proved crucial in Stealth's 19-16 victory; the eventual champs couldn't hold an 8-0 lead built in just half an inning, but fought back to win in seven.
