At the Ignacio Community Library, there’s always something happening. We have a bunch of regular events every week and month that give you a reason to swing by, kick back, and hang out with your community.
Some programs let you pick up a new skill, others are hands-on projects, and some are just cozy spots to chat and feel welcome. Whether you’re looking for a creative space, some social time, or just a nice place to be, you’ll find it here.
Mondays – Kick off your week with Ageless Grace at 10 a.m. at the Ignacio Senior Center. It’s all about keeping your mind and body active while connecting with others. Then at 1:30 p.m., check out our Sewing Workshop – everyone’s welcome, whether you’re a newbie or an experienced sewist. Bring a project or just enjoy the company of fellow makers.
Tuesdays – Tuesday mornings are all about creativity and fun. Storytime at 10 a.m. is perfect for the little ones, with stories, songs, and crafts to spark their imaginations. At 10:30 a.m., the Open Art Studio gives local artists a chance to create together in a friendly setting. And at 5 p.m., join Electronics Hour to dive into circuits, robots, computers, and all sorts of cool tech.
Wednesdays – Ageless Grace is back at 10 a.m. at the Ignacio Senior Center. It’s a great way to take a little time for yourself while stretching your mind and connecting with others.
Thursdays – Join the ICL Knitters Group at 1 p.m. for some knitting and chatting. Bring your project, sip on a drink, and enjoy the company of fellow knitters.
Fridays – Wrap up the week with Community Coffee & Donuts at 9 a.m. Stop by, grab a coffee and a donut, and relax for a bit. Sometimes, the best part about the library is just having a place where you know you’re welcome.
Throughout the month, we also offer support and practical help, like the Grief Support Group, Free Legal Clinic, and Repair Café. You don’t need to be a regular, and you don’t have to know anyone when you walk in. Just come as you are! Ignaciolibrary.org, 970-563-9287.
