The 104th Annual Southern Ute Tribal Fair continues through Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Sky Ute Fairgrounds Arena. Rodeo athletes gathered to compete in bronc riding, tie down, roping, barrel racing, bull riding, and more. This year’s rodeo also featured a Junior Rodeo, a first for this event, offering youth rodeo athletes the chance to compete. The Rodeo is also home to the Horsing Around events – Chicken Pull and Watermelon Race saw many riders; the All-Native Best Hand Painted Horse contest was also featured during the rodeo.
