Nonprofit organization, Native Love welcomes guest artist Chi King to the Southern Ute Reservation where the artist will be filming his music video to his new song “Stolen Sisters.” Chi King met members of the Southern Ute Royalty at the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum on Tuesday, March 17.
Museum Director, Fabian Martinez and SUCCM Business Manager, Samantha Maez gave a tour of the permanent and temporary galleries to artist Chi King during his visit to the Reservation ahead of King’s upcoming music video production. King learned about the history of the Ute people, Southern Ute boarding school era, modern life, Southern Ute veterans, and more during his visit.

Chi King’s “Stolen Sisters” song and video is a powerful music video created for the Native Strong Project, led by Native Love. The video is executive produced by Daisy Bluestar and Native Love; the collaboration will help to raise global awareness to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives in Colorado initiative and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women & Children national campaign.
